How long will my makeup application take?

Bridal makeup application typically takes 1.5 -2 hours. However, things can (and most probably will) come up. Whether it's a bridesmaids dress debacle or a hair styling snafu i'll be sure to get you primped and primed before the music starts playing.

How long will my bridesmaids makeup application take?

This depends on how many bridesmaids need application and how much time you want to spend having everyone get ready. Ideally, I would have at least 45 mins for each bridesmaid but I can do it faster if timing is tight.

Why don't you apply airbrush makeup?

Airbrush makeup offers amazing coverage, and while this sounds great in theory, you risk losing any semblance of a natural glow. I want your skin to look radiant, not like cardboard!

Should I have my hair or makeup done first?

Generally you should always have your hair done first. The heat from a blow-dryer or curling iron can cause you to sweat. By doing your hair first, you can avoid any oil or hair products on your face and make sure your makeup lasts longer.

Do you do hair?

I do what is referred to in the fashion industry as "light hair". What this means is I am proficient in blow outs, setting curls, simple up-dos and other styles. If you prefer something more complex it may require a separate hair stylist. You can always send me a photo of what you have in mind and I will let you know if its something I feel confident doing :)

Will you be there to reapply makeup throughout my wedding?

It's totally up to you! It is an additional $175 for me to stay for touch ups.

What do you suggest I do to prepare my skin before my wedding?

1. DRINK LOTS OF WATER!! I know this is nothing groundbreaking but it really will make a difference.

2. Make sure you are moisturizing your skin. If you don't already, you should start 3 or 4 months before the wedding.

3. You should exfoliate your skin a couple months before the wedding and if you like the way your skin responds go ahead and exfoliate a week prior to the big day. If you don't own an exfoliator, I would suggest using baking soda.

What is involved during a makeup trial and how should I prepare?

The makeup trial is a chance for me to get to know you and what you want for your big day. Before the makeup trial, I recommend finding some makeup looks and styles that you like. Create a vision board using Pinterest or clip some looks from magazines. If you're not sure which look would be best for you, I am more than happy to lend some guidance.

Also - If you have not already informed me, please bring a list of make up or products you are sensitive/allergic to and any other special requests you may have.
